In
the fertile Engares valley are four independent villas set in
mature and beautiful gardens. Each villa has a private swimming
pool with hydro-massage.
The villas offers a tranquil environment for complete relaxation;
there is no passing traffic.
The ground floor consists of a spacious and well furnished sitting
room with a fully fitted kitchen, a double bedroom with two single
beds and a shower room with toilet. |

French
doors open on to the sheltered terrace near the pool which provides
areas with both sun and shade. Sun loungers and garden furniture
are provided.
The mature gardens are well cared for and provide a colourful
setting for the villas.
The first floor has a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom
with a bath and toilet. From the bedroom French doors open onto
a balcony with a pergola and which has views across the Engares
valley.

The
villas are air-conditioned and have daily cleaning services with
a change of towels; the bed linen is changed every three days.
There is a washing machine which can be used by the guests.
There also is satellite TV and free ISDN internet connection for
clients who bring their laptop.
The terrace has a mobile barbeque for use by the guests. |

The
Engares valley consists of small orchards and olive groves,
interspersed by shaded lanes.
It is a beautiful environment for walking trips.
The long sandy beach of Amitis, about 800 metres walking distance
from the villas, is as yet undeveloped except for a single taverna
which is open in the high season.

Both
the villages of Engares and Galini have several excellent local
tavernas with traditional food and hospitality.
The villages and the surrounding areas are still untouched by
tourism.
Engares,
about 300 metres distance, has a fresh bakery and a mini-market.
Naxos town, which is about 10 minutes driving distance, has an
wide range of shops, an excellent
archeological museum and an open-air cinema. |
