Pirgaki
beach is a long sandy beach with crystal clear water and the
beach is sheltered from the prevailing North wind.
The beach is relatively quiet even at the height of the tourist
season.
The beach can be reached by an unpaved road and has very limited
local traffic.
The beginning of Pirgaki beach borders the headland of Alyko
and Angali which is a protected area with a rare species of
dwarf cedar trees.
