  The Orkos Village hotel consists of 26 studio apartments, a bar/snack bar with kitchen and additional outdoor seating area, a large dining and conference room with kitchen and an outdoor terrace, a laundry room and a paved sheltered area for outdoor activities such as yoga, dancing etc.
The hotel is set on a hillside and has magnificent panoramic sea views in all directions towards the beaches of Orkos and Plaka and beautiful sunset views towards the nearby island of Paros.
  The hotel was built in 1989 and extended in 1995. The studios are self-contained with their own entrance and are connected by stone walls and staircases, and set in beautiful mature gardens.

The studios are built in the Cycladic style and the design and atmosphere resemble those of a small Greek village rather than a hotel complex.
Each studio has a balcony or terrace with beautiful sea views.
 
  The Orkos Village hotel is about 150 meters distance from the sea.

This part of the coast has a succession of sandy beaches with crystal clear water and beautiful colours.

Some are small, almost private sandy beaches between the rocks; Plaka beach which is about 5 minutes walking distance, is a 4 km. long sandy beach.
 
  The accommodation is in a quiet rural location with only private villas in the immediate area, there no other hotels in the vicinity.

The Orkos Village hotel holds the only hotel license in the area and no further hotel licenses are to be issued.

The hotel is 18 km. distance from Naxos town and 5 minutes driving distance from Orkos and the small village of Mikri Vigla.
 
  Both Orkos and Mikri Vigla have well stocked super markets which supply fresh bread, milk, eggs and vegetables as well as general groceries.
Orkos beach has ideal wind and kite surfing conditions.
Near Orkos beach are two wind- and kite surfing schools which provide lessons and equipment hire.
One of the school has a restaurant/bar with an Italian chef and has wi-fi access.
 

The central building of the hotel consists of the reception area and the bar/snack bar and small kitchen with both indoor and outdoor seating areas.
On the first floor is a spacious dining room and kitchen, with access to a large roof terrace with outdoor seating and beautiful sea views.

The dining room has seating capacity for up to 75 persons is very suitable for seminars and social gatherings.

 
  The studios are open-plan accommodations, each with a built-in double and a single bed, a sitting area, a small kitchen with a fridge and a shower room with a wash basin and a toilet.

Some of the studios are slightly larger and can accommodate up to five persons.

The studios have marble floors and wooden ceilings.
 
   

The total ground area is 8000m2 with a 100m drive connecting the complex to the coastal road.

The total living area is 1064m2 and the current license allows for structural expansion of an additional 682m.

All of the structures are seismically sound and have been erected in adherence to Greek law using iron reinforced concrete.

 
  The hotel is connected to the municipal water system and has a back-up connection to a neighbouring farm well.
There is an independent septic system and a municipal sewer system is being planned.
There is ample parking for visitors and staff.

The official operating license issued by EOT (Hellenic National Tourist Organisation) is valid until 2015 at which time it comes up for renewal.
 
  The hotel has been operated exclusively by the owner who has a long standing relationship with SKR (Studien-Kontaktreisen, Bonn-Godesberg) and has worked to cultivate private clientele to supplement the groups.

Government subsidies are available for the renovation of hotels which have been in operation for over 10 years.
The subsidies can cover at least 40% of budgeted improvements in the event that any are desired or required.
 
 

The Orkos Village hotel is for sale with all fixtures and fittings included except for the private paintings of the owner.

The inclusive price for the Orkos Village hotel is 1.400.000 Euro.
