Stromboula studio is ideal for people who enjoy a rural setting
well away tourist areas.
The studio is set in gardens and has views across the beautiful
Plaka valley towards the sea.
The valley is a patchwork of small farms which are still cultivated
in the traditional way. It is a beautiful area to explore on
foot.
The studio provides a comfortable accommodation for 2 persons.

The
studio is about 1 km. outside the village of Tripodes and can
be reached via an unpaved road which is negotiable with a normal
car.
Car rental is essential for mobility and convenience.
The beaches of Plaka and Orkos are about 10-15 minutes driving
distance.
The end of Plaka beach is relatively quiet even at the height
of summer, there are no hotels near the end of Plaka beach. |

Orkos
Beach has ideal wind-and kite surfing conditions; 2 wind- and
kite surfing schools provide lessons and equipment hire.
The studio has 2 twin beds with an open plan sitting area, an
adjacent kitchen and a shower room with a toilet.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas cooker with 3 burners,
a kettle, coffee machine, toaster, etc. |

From
the sitting area French doors open onto the terrace.
The terrace has a pergola, outdoor furniture and wide ranging
views across the valley towards the sea.
The owners' house is about 100 metres distance to the side of
the studio and does not disturb the views.
The owners are 2 working adults and privacy is respected. |

The
village of Tripodes is a farming village and has an excellent
bakery, three traditional tavernas, a cafe and 2 small local
shops.
Naxos town, about
20 minutes driving distance, has some excellent supermarkets
and a general range of shops.
The old part of Naxos town is Venetian in origin and has an
excellent archaeological museum and a variety of waterside restaurants
and cafe's.
