There are some relatively cheap charter flights from UK airports to Athens.
EasyJet has flights twice a day from London Luton and once a day from London Gatwick to Athens and now also from Gatwick to Mykonos.

Olympic Airways have regular daily flights to Athens and connecting flights to Naxos. The Olympic Airways domestic flights from Athens to Naxos should be booked well in advance during the season.

 
  A good alternative is to take a charter flight to Santorini or Mykonos.
There are regular daily ferry connections between Santorini or Mykonos and Naxos.

On arrival at the new Athens airport you can take the Express bus (E96) for 3 Euro to the port of Piraeus or a taxi to Rafina.
There is also a new Metro connection from the airport to Athens and to the port of Piraeus.
 
 

Please allow for up to 1-1.5 hours for the journey from the airport to the port.
For a slightly quicker journey, take a taxi from the airport to the port of Piraeus.
Both the express bus stop and the taxi rank are in front of the airport.

There are regular daily ferry connections from Athens to Naxos.
The first ferries leave from Piraeus at 7.30 a.m.

   
  The Blue Star Ferries are new and provide a very fast and efficient service; the journey takes about 6-7 hours.

During the high season, the High Speed (hydrofoil) takes 3.5 hours.
For both companies advance booking is advisable during the high season.

On your arrival in Naxos you will be met at the port or the local airport and accompanied to your accommodation.
     
  You will be provided with island information to help you make the most of your holiday.

Should you need further assistance during your stay you can contact our representative on the island at any time.
Car rental can be arranged for any part of your visit to Naxos and is advised for at least part of your stay to discover the island.
     
 
The Rental Center is one of the first car rental agencies on the island. Your car can be delivered to the port or the airport on your arrival, or to your accommodation, free of charge.

Generally the main roads in Naxos are asphalted and in good condition. For some of the roads in the south of the island, and for most of the unpaved roads, a jeep is recommended.
